The Leitrim County Development Plan was adopted on 12^th January 2015 and came into effect on 9^th February 2015.

The Leitrim Housing Strategy 2015 – 2021 and the Leitrim Retail Strategy 2015 - 2021 were adopted alongside the making of the County Development Plan.
